Frequently asked questions about Universal Horror Unleashed tickets

What exactly is Universal Horror Unleashed?

Universal Horror Unleashed is a brand-new, year-round horror experience in Las Vegas from the creators of Halloween Horror Nights, one of Universal’s most famous seasonal events held every year at Universal Studios theme parks. It features multiple haunted houses, themed bars, live entertainment, and immersive zones inspired by classic Universal Monsters and modern horror films.

Is this a theme park?

Not exactly. It’s not a full theme park like Universal Studios. Universal Horror Unleashed is a standalone, indoor horror attraction inside the AREA15 district in Las Vegas. Think of it as a mix between haunted houses, live horror shows, themed food and drinks, and creepy environments, all under one roof.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket gives you timed entry to Universal Horror Unleashed and full access to all four haunted houses, themed zones, and live horror experiences. Food, drinks, and souvenirs are available inside but are sold separately.

Is the ticket valid all day?

Tickets are valid only for the date and time you select when booking. The full experience usually takes around 2 hours, but you can stay longer to enjoy the themed bars and dining, as long as it’s within operating hours.

Are there rides inside?

No, there are no traditional rides or roller coasters. Instead, the thrill comes from four massive haunted houses, live performances, and interactive horror zones that immerse you in movie-level terror.

How scary will it be?

Let’s just say it’s not for the faint of heart! The attraction features intense horror effects, jump scares, strobe lights, fog, and dark, confined spaces, all designed to keep your adrenaline high.

What is the least scary haunted house inside?

While each haunted house has its own theme and intensity, “Universal Monsters” tends to be more atmospheric than shocking. It’s creepy and cinematic but focuses more on tension and classic horror than nonstop jump scares, a good starting point for first-timers.

Are there age restrictions for entry?

Yes. Due to the intense nature of the experience, it’s not recommended for children under 13 years old. Guests under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Are costumes allowed inside?

No, costumes, costume masks, and face paint are not permitted for safety and security reasons. But don’t worry, you’ll still be surrounded by enough eerie atmosphere to make you feel part of the horror.

Can I take photos inside?

Photography is not permitted inside the haunted houses (it would ruin the experience and could be unsafe). But you can absolutely take pictures in the themed areas, restaurants, and bars outside the main attractions.

What makes this different from Halloween Horror Nights?

Halloween Horror Nights is a temporary event that happens every fall at Universal Studios parks. Universal Horror Unleashed is permanent, giving horror fans a way to experience the same level of detail, storytelling, and scares all year long.
